I’m Dinara Safiullina, the dedicated owner and CEO of Petalonia. My journey began when I moved to New York in 2011 from Eastern Europe, bringing with me a lifelong passion for design—whether it’s fashion, architecture, interior, or floral design. Determined to follow my passion, I earned my Master’s Degree in Interior Design from the New York School of Interior Design, graduating with High Honors in 2017. Yet, my love for design didn’t stop there. I soon discovered a new artistic outlet in floral design, which began as a simple hobby but quickly became something more. I pursued formal training and earned a Certificate in Floral Design from the prestigious New York Botanical Garden (NYBG). In 2019, I transformed my passion into a business and founded Design by Dinara Safiullina. By 2024, I rebranded as Petalonia, complete with a new name and upgraded, sustainable packaging. Through Petalonia, I offer a full range of floral design services, from weddings, birthdays, and corporate events to Christmas tree decorations and custom floral arrangements. I work with a wide variety of blooms, including fresh, silk, preserved, and dried flowers, to create designs that suit every vision. I pride myself on being a creative problem solver—I can bring any idea to life, no matter how ambitious. In fact, I take it as a pleasurable challenge to turn your vision into reality, making the impossible possible through floral artistry. As a true perfectionist, I personally hand-select every flower and collaborate closely with each client to ensure their event is seamless and unforgettable, leaving behind lasting, joyful memories.
